Nothing can ruin a vacation more than sea sickness or motion sickness. Who wants to
We just got back from a yacht in the Caribbean and my biggest fear was getting sea sick on the trip to various islands. I get car sick so easily and I’ve felt slightly sea sick on cruises but since we’d be on a much smaller boat, I knew I’d feel the waves more and be prone to sea sickness.
I bought these three items prior to my trip and I must say, they helped tremendously! I actually didn’t even need the Bonine but it was nice to have it on hand if needed. Place the patches on your ear about 30 minutes before heading on a boat, plane, or car and put on the wrist bands right before. I now swear by these products but I managed to make it through the entire trip without getting sick! The water was really rough the first day and if it weren’t for the bands or patches, I for sure would have been on the side of that yacht throwing up.
I did end up taking some Bonine once I got home to help alleviate the swaying motion that made me feel like I was still on a boat. It helps for that too! I highly recommend using these products so you don’t let motion sickness control your vacay. After all, you’re supposed to be relaxing!
